Report from Washington. Hijackin sic Bill introd, 1962 August 3
Abstract
Representative Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) delivers his weekly radio address, Report from Washington, on Aug. 3, 1961. With the assistance of an unidentified interlocutor, Rep. Dominick discusses topics including airplane hijacking attempts by Cubans and others, and the anti-hijacking bill he proposed in Congress. The bill would punish anyone who commits a crime aboard an aircraft in flight, carries concealed weapons on a plane, attempts a hijacking or interferes with a flight crew. Dominick also calls for hardline action toward Cuba by the United States and the OAS.
