Abstract

Congressman Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) delivers his weekly radio address, Report from Washington, on July 19, 1962. Rep. Dominick discusses the reasons that the United States House has defeated recent pieces of legislation introduced by the Kennedy Administration. He reviews the issues covered by the proposals including farm crop controls (Freeman-Kennedy Farm Bill), Medicare, requests by the U.S. Justice Department for documents in anti-trust cases and compensation for families displaced by highway construction.
