Former Speaker of the Colorado State House of Representatives Andrew Romanoff visited a class for freshmen that introduces science students to politics. He spoke to the class of chemistry and biochemistry Professor Lawrence Berliner to introduce 15 freshmen students to the real world, where lobbying politicians and government officials in the halls of the legislature and on Capitol Hill can be as important as research done in the lab.
