Abstract

Carol Foster was a prima ballerina and soloist, born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Through high school, she danced in Denver Civic Ballet. After high school, Carol moved to New York City performing companies such as American Ballet Theatre and The Metropolitan Opera Ballet. This collection contains scrapbooks and costumes from Carol's time with Denver Civic Ballet.

Biographical / Historical

Carol Foster was born in Denver, CO on December 13, 1945. Throughout high school Carol danced as a soloist for Denver Civic Ballet. After high school, Carol moved to New York City where she studied at the American Ballet Theater School and danced professionally with Manhattan Festival Ballet, The Metropolitan Opera and six years with American Ballet Theater.
