Biographical / Historical
Gareth Edwards is currently the John Evans Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at University of Denver, 1997-present. He received his B.A. (Chemistry) from Harvard University in 1962 and his Ph.D. (Inorganic Chemistry) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1972. He previously served University of Denver as Profesor in the Department of Chemistry (1980-97), Vice Provost for Research (1988-89), and Dean of Natural Sciences (1984-88). His research includes: Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) studies of molecules with unpaired electrons - primarily organic radicals and transition metal ions.
