Biographical / Historical
Founded in 1987 as Colorado Repertory Dance Company, the organization changed it's name in 1998 to reflect the driving force behind the Company's artistic and educational vision, Founder/Artistic Director/ Choreographer Kim Robards. KRD is critically acclaimed for its high artistic standards consistently met by Artistic Director Kim Robards as she creates new, quality dance works. Over the course of our history, KRD and our Artistic Director have numerous accomplishments, including both the Governor's and Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts and funding from The National Endoement for the Arts, among many others. https://www.kimrobardsdance.org/company
