Heather Doyle-Maier is a Denver-based visual artist experienced in creating innovative book structures with various materials. This collection consists of the process materials used in the construction of Heather Doyle-Maier's artist-book, Christina Noel Tribute Book, created in honor of Colorado-based dance teacher Christina Noel.

Biographical / Historical

Visual artist Heather Doyle-Maier pairs innovative book structures with papers, fabrics and texts to produce thought-provoking, layered examinations of femininity, motherhood and domesticity. A Colorado native, Heather holds a BFA from Metropolitan State College of Denver in Visual Art and BA from Loretto Heights College/Regis College in Theatre Education. Heather’s award-winning work has been exhibited locally, regionally and nationally and can be found in university, museum and private collections.
