Biographical / Historical
David Andrews is a local dance videographer/photographer. In 1991, David decided he’d like to try photographing and videoing dance performances for fun. As a resident of Granby, he has spent numerous hours driving to Denver and Boulder to work with a variety of dance companies. Among those companies are previous Legends including Cleo Parker Robinson, Frequent Flyers, Colorado Ballet, 3rd Law, Boulder Ballet, Hannah Kahn, Mary Wohl Haan, and faculty at the University of Colorado/Boulder. He has also worked with many small, upcoming companies over the years providing his services at little charge or for free. In 2019, David was named a 'Legend of Dance' by The Dance Archive.
