Evan Makovsky Papers

Evan Makovsky co-founded Shames Makovsky Realty Company in 1971 with his partner, and uncle, Motty Shames. In the 1980s he formed Shames Makovsky Mortgage Company. He is a graduate of the University of Denver and a committee member for the Rose Community Foundation. In 2007, he was named Honorary Dean of Real Estate and Construction Management of the Franklin G. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at the University of Denver. He also began an ambitious development and revitalization project by 16th Street Mall in 2007. Collection contains news clippings related to Evan Makovsky from 2007.
