Founded in ___ by Daniel Cochran Burns. Franklin Burns joined the company in 1938 and became Vice President and manager in 1939 after the death of Daniel Cochran Burns. After the death of Franklin's father in 1942, Franklin became the Presdient of the company and began developing subdivisions and shopping centers as well as residential homes.
