Abstract
The Porter and Waring families have long histories in Colorado. The collection consists of various lace and/or embroidered items including table cloths, doillies, pillow covers, clothing, animal fur, and a wedding dress dating to 1938.

Content Description
Several boxes and containers of various textile materials collected by the Porter/Waring family (ancestors of donor, Ted White). Materials include many lace tablecloths, doilies, and other artifacts.
Custodial History
Materials donated by Ted and Nancy White. All materials were collected by the Whites' relatives in the Porter and Waring families, both of which have long histories in Denver and Colorado.
