Virginia Axton Hughes attended the Colorado Women's College in 1940 and 1941. She collected two of her yearbooks containing significant handwritten messages, autographs, and other yearbook messages.

Virginia Axton Hughes attended the Colorado Women's College (CWC) in 1940 and 1941. She is the older sister of Joyce Axton Jamison who attended CWC in the late 40s, early 50s. She later married a man named Hughes.
