Biographical / Historical
Welcome Henning (1923-2013), born to Margaret and George Henning on November 4, 1923 in Louisville, Boulder County, Colorado. She then moved to Denver where she attended Colorado Woman’s College (currently Colorado Women's College) from 1941 to 1943: she received an Associate in Science. She received a registered nursing license from St. Luke’s School of Nursing and served in the Cadet Nursing Corps in WWII from 1943-1945. She married Ralph Clinton Miller (1925-2013) in 1946. They had two children, Laurinda and Russell. She died in Westminster, Adams County, Colorado on March 28, 2013.
