Box contains information on the El Pomar Foundation and grants. In the early 1970s, a $4.5 million dollar gift from the foundation enabled the University of Denver to begin constructing the Penrose Library. An additional grant in the early 1990s allowed Penrose to renovate and remodel. The box contains documents of these instances, including grant proposals from later years. Files are arranged chronologically.
