Overview David Gross was born in Austria-Hungary and died at the age of 53 on February 23, 1920. David Gross married Rosa Printz in 1894 in Denver, Colorado. He retired from active business when in his 40s and devoted his time to philanthropic efforts. David Gross was particulary involved with the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS), serving as the first vice-president. As chairman of the house committee he personally chose food at the markets in the early morning, and established a deli at JCRS....

Overview Joseph and Nettie were East European immigrants who settled in Denver. Joseph came in 1900 and Rose came in 1902 with the children. The couple had six children: Rose, Joseph, Ephraim, George, Samuel and Nettie. Collection contains materials related to the Goldfain familiy including correspondence, a diploma, the personal papers of Rose Goldfain and a copy of a citizenship document for Joseph Goldfain.

He was also a chemist and worked for the Food and Drug Administration in Denver. Overview Morris Eber was born in 1879 and immigrated from Russia in 1892. He married Ida and they had two children, Bessie and Helen. He lived in Denver, owned Eber’s Grocery Store and worked in Real Estate. One framed certificate stating that Morris Eber is hereby a citizen of the United States. The certificate is issued by the District Court of the second judicial district, County of Arapahoe, State of Colorado. Stamped October 13, 1900.
