Overview Fred Veston was originally from Poland and survived the Holocaust. After World War II, he came to the US and settled in Albuquerque, NM. He was a painter and would paint portraits as bar/bat mitzvah gifts for the members of his congregation. Collection contains 2 paintings by Fred Veston. One is a portrait of a young woman lighting candles; it was a gift for her from the artist for her Bat Mitzvah.
