Abstract The Jewish Education Task Force was created in the Spring of 1988 to explore the problems and challenges faced by the community in the area of Jewish education, as a result of the 1987 seminar "Major Issues in Jewish Education" presented by the Jewish Education Service of North America (JESNA). Collection contains administrative paperwork from the Jewish Education Task Force and questionnaires from 14 Denver area Jewish educational schools and camps.

Abstract

The Student Protests Collection is a collection of materials related to student protests, whether against the University, as in the case of a tuition protest, or American policies, as in the case of Woodstock West and anti-draft demonstrations. The collection includes newspaper clippings as well as University documents and other published material.

West Side Reunion Records

Abstract A group of Jewsish friends, who had grown up on Denver's Jewish West Side neighborhood, organized a pinic. The Denver West Side Reunion Picnic was held on July 15, 1979. High school classes of 1955 through 1958 were invited. Roberta Greengard, chair of the Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society, prepared questionnaires. Plans were made to have a larger reunion and invite people who had been part of the Jewish West Side. The West Side Reunion was held July 4-6, 1985. Reunion members again...
