Overview The Central Agency for Jewish Education (CAJE) was established in Denver in 1973. The mission of CAJE is Jewish education and it has created a resource center that holds materials on Jewish issues, life, and culture. The organization also sponsors teacher training and runs seminars and workshops for Jewish schools and educators for the Rocky Mountain Region. CAJE works closely with the Jewish Educators Council. Overview East European Jewish immigrant, Adolph Kiesler, became a noted Colorado philanthropist. Born in Rumania in 1880, Kiesler settled in Denver's West Colfax Jewish neighborhood at the turn of the century, when he began as a peddler.
