Overview Carol Foster was a prima ballerina and soloist, born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Through high school, she danced in Denver Civic Ballet. After high school, Carol moved to New York City performing companies such as American Ballet Theatre and The Metropolitan Opera Ballet. This collection contains scrapbooks and costumes from Carol's time with Denver Civic Ballet.

Overview In 2016, in conjuction with Carson Brierly Giffin Dance Library's annual exhibit "Rising Stars: Denver Civic Ballet and Ballet Guild," oral histories were conducted to be included in the supplemental documentary for the exhibit. These oral histories include interviews with former dancers, costumers, and journalists.
