Overview Ida Hurwitz wrote family stories and other historical articles, which were published in The Jewish Digest and the Denver Post. She was a member of the prestigious Colorado Authors League and was active in the Jewish American Women Writers. Overview Ida Libert Uchill was born in 1917 on a farm outside of Denver, Colorado to Paul and Fannie Pepper Libert. She died in 2014. Her family on her paternal side arrived in Denver via the port of Galveston in about 1911. In junior high she was a columnist in the childen's section of the Denver Post. Overview Jack Greenwald was born June 14, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio, the youngest son of Rabbi Yekusiel Yehudah Greenwald (1888 - 1954). He came to Denver, Colorado in 1946 and received his Bachelor of Science of Law, 1950, and his Juris Doctorate, 1952 from the University of Denver. He participated with the World Health Organization as a member of Russian medical expeditions to the Congo in 1960 and 1962.
