Overview Benjamin Draper (1907-1980) was a professor of Broadcast Communications at San Fransisco State College, during which he returned to DU for a PhD in theatre. Overview Bernice Cooke Laverty was born in Calfornia in 1904. She served as the University of Denver Lamont School of Music's speech teacher for a number of years. This collection contains programs and photographs from various plays and musicals directed by Laverty as well as correspondence, musical scores, songbooks, scripts and teacher's guides.
Overview Helen Bonfils built the Bonfils Theatre, on East Colfax Avenue at Elizabeth Street, Denver, Colorado, in 1953. The theatre was built to try to preserve live theater in a time when Hollywood Films were taking over the entertainment industry. In 1985 the theatre was renamed the Lowenstein Theatre and was then closed in 1986 by its umbrella organization, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Overview The Centennial Towers Miracle Theatre Company appears to have been a small, student-run theatre group that existed for approximately fifteen (15) years. It consisted of and/or was run by theatre students, and they produced small plays that were performed in the Main Lounge of Centennial Towers.

Overview Contains 38 scripts of melodramas assembled by B.A. Bergman, manager of the Crescent Comedy Company (also known as the Crescent Stock Company), based in Chicago. The working scripts (containing dialogue, stage directions and music cues) were used for performances in Chicago, Illinois and on road tours, chiefly in Michigan.
