The materials in this collection document the professional life of R. Russell Porter while he was a member of the faculty of the University of Denver, from 1946 until his retirement in 1976. Administrative materials provide a chronological framework for the artistic works that follow. They include biographies, obituaries, press releases and newspaper clippings, faculty personnel records and evaluations, insurance packages, travel records, brochures, personal papers, interviews, photographs...

Abstract
This box contains files on different tv and movie projects that Russell Porter took part in as well as poetry by Porter and a character portrait. Acting files include: resume and headshots, Kate McShane (1975), Audrey Rose (1976), The Betsy (1977), Harvey (1977), 10 Little Indians (1981), Martin Luther Film Project, and miscellaneous and playbills. One poetry folder contains loose poems and edits while the other is a bound volume.
