Abstract
The Grossman family emigrated to America from the Austro-Hungarian Empire and moved to Denver because of tuberculosis. Abraham Grossman was an active member of the traditional Beth Ha Medrosh Hagodol (BMH) Synagogue and later of the Oheb Zedek Congregation which broke away from BMH in 1911. Sidney Grazi was born in 1914, the oldest of four children born of immigrant parents (Aleppo, Syria; and Russia). He was a proficient musician, private pilot, and general contractor of homes and commercial properties in Denver through the Titan Construction Company. Collection contains awards and photographs related to Sidney Grazi from 1960 through 1965.
