Morey Sharp, a Denver native, excelled at basketball at West High School and also played baseball. Sharp later worked as a broadcaster in Cheyenne, Wyoming, mostly working local high school events.

All games took place in the E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

After an honored career in football, basketball and athletics at both AAU and North High School, Jack Shapiro turned his skills to sports journalism, writing columns and working as a reporter for the now-defunct West End Press during the 1930s and 1940s.
Basketball: Galchinsky, 1999-2012
Herb Galchinsky was born in 1937. He was coached by Shelly Silverman, when he was playing at the Young America League at the JCC. He also played on his high school team at north high school. After high school he attended University of Denver, Law School on an academic scholarship which was converted to a full ride athletics scholarship. He was the captain of his team, his senior year. after he went on to being a judge. he also coached the little League baseball.
