Abstract In 1994, the Denver General Hospital Trauma Center was dedicated to Rabbi Manual Laderman. The dedication included the creation of a bronze bas-relief portrait of Rabbi Manual Laderman. On February 21, 1998 the portrait was moved to the main lobby of Denver Health (successor to Denver General) and a rededication ceremony occurred in 2019. An unknown man speaking at a ceremonial podium at the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS). Dr. Hillkowitz is seated in the back row behind the speaker. The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. The sanatorium was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside of Denver.
