Overview Typed memo from Ben Friedland following up with a previous letter that asked for a renewal of his contribution of $25.00 sent in July 1925. The top of the letter says “In re: Louis Cohen July 25, 1940.” There is also the front of an envelope associated with the letter. The envelope has a time stamp from Spivak, Colorado and Tulsa, Oklahoma and is addressed to Mr. L. Cohen.

Overview Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to E. Rothman. Spivak thanks Rothman for the $8.00 contribution from new recruits in Phoenix that he obtained for JCRS. He tells Rothman that his letters add a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day because dealing with the sick and poor is difficult all of the time. Rothman asked Spivak to write a letter that goes into detail about the work that JCRS has done; therefore, Spivak lists facts about the sanatorium.
