Pencil sketch on tracing paper of a man running from a bull in a pasture. Two men on the outside of the fence, one smoking a pipe, are looking on and conversing. Quotation say "One potatoe to a Bottle of whiskey he doesn't make it." Potato is spelled with an "e" on the end.

One Winsor Spiral Sketchbook, size 5 x 8, filled with pencil sketches of buildings, landscapes and seascapes, one watercolor and a few ink drawings. Several of the sketches have locations in and around Quebec written on them. Sketch book is dated "Summer 1956" on front cover; "Maria Lowenstein" is also written on cover. Stamped "Plankenhorn Stationary Co. Williamsport 2, PA" with "20" written in top right corner of front cover; presumably it was priced at 20 cents.
