Feldman Documents, from Binder called ''Figures'', between 1970-1990
This folder is the contents of a binder labeled ''Figures''. Feldman used this notebook to record his research and opinions on major figures and how they related to the idea of myth. Each section on an individual figure included a section that described ''his position in a nutshell,'' a primary bibliography of the individual's works regarding myth, a secondary bibliography that also covered myth, critiques by others, and questions that Feldman had.

This folder contains a notebook and notes of Burton Feldman's pertaining to myth, politics, and the notion of kinship. The notebook is filled, largely, with lists of authors that Burton would potentially be referencing. Alongside the notebook are a stack of index cards with notes concerning the concepts the authors discussed. The folder also contains some loose sheets of paper and newspaper clippings that had been in the notebook.

This folder contains more than one hundred drafts by Feldman of the introduction to ''The Rise of Modern Mythology: 1680 - 1860'' that have been extracted from a large binder. Each draft is numbered with the notes that contributed to the changes.
