This folder is the contents of a binder labeled ''Figures''. Feldman used this notebook to record his research and opinions on major figures and how they related to the idea of myth. Each section on an individual figure included a section that described ''his position in a nutshell,'' a primary bibliography of the individual's works regarding myth, a secondary bibliography that also covered myth, critiques by others, and questions that Feldman had.

This folder contains a draft copy of Walter D. Love's ''Mercy for Miss Awdy, In a Vile Acting of the Sacred''. The piece is a dialogue that was published as the Appendix of John B. Cobb Jr.'s book entitled ''The Theology of Altizer: Critique and Response''. This copy appears to have been sent to Burton Feldman as a review copy, as Feldman has made some corrections scattered throughout the text.
