Theology

Collection contains two books circa 1893-94 titled, Studies In the English Bible and Studies in St. Paul's Epistle , newspaper clippings, publications and correspondence from the Iliff School of Theology.

Series 4 contains drafts and notes related to books and articles published by Yourgrau, either individually or in collaboration with other scientists. Included are fragments or chapters of unnamed publications or on a specific topic.

Excised leaf from a work of Theology (Theologia Christiana Dogmatico-Moralis) printed in Rome in 1763. Printed in roman type. Laid on the righthand side of a lavender sheet with a facsimile of the volume's title page on the left side in magenta ink.

Excised leaf from a parallel Greek and Latin book of the works of Athanasius (archbishop of Alexandria, d. 373 A.D.) printed in 1557. Printed in roman type and italic Greek type, originally pp. 479-480 of its volume. Stapled to the righthand side of a sheet with a facsimile of the volume's title page on the left side in black and red ink.

Series 7 contains bibliographies, by subject, of the personal library of Yourgrau. Also included are appraisals and insurance documents for the library, as well as advertisements and correspondence relative to efforts to sell the library.

Various detached leaves of early modern printed books, primarily religious in nature. These leaves are not associated with any specific facsimiles in the collection (or there is no clear association between the title page facsimiles and the detached leaves).
