L.E. Clement for Colorado Reflections
L.E. Clement, also known as Clemmie, was born in Denver in 1909. Reflects on recreation activities at the Rocky Mountain Lake including a playground, tennis courts, sledding, and ice skating. Clements reminisces on swimming at Berkeley Lake. Reflects on becoming the first Colorado woman parachute jumper, jumping from a biplane. Recalls the fourth of July celebrations with fireworks and baseball games. Describes the games the neighborhood children played in the summer.
