He was a noted Jewish-American trial lawyer and senior partner of the law firm Phillips Nizer Benjamin Krim & Ballon and authored a number of books - one of which was titled ''What to Do with Germany.'' He also wrote the forward to the Warren Commission report that investigated President John F. Kennedy's and the resulting conspiracy theories that still surround it.
