Abstract

Baggage tag from Henry Lowenstein's crossing on the SS Marine Falcon from Southampton to the United States. The front of the tag is printed with "United States Line" and "Tourist Class Stateroom" in blue above and below an illustration of a ship. The back of the tag has been filled out by hand with H. Loewenstein, the steamer name, sailing date, departure port, arrival port, and final destination in Pennsylvania.

Abstract Henry Lowenstein's travel visa. The visa is a light green bound book with dark green text on cover stating "Travel Document (Agreement of 15th October, 1946)" with the same text in French underneath. The earliest stamp in the book is from April 17, 1947 but the printed agreement date on the first page is October 15, 1946. The visa expired on October 3, 1948.
