Alice Brady (born Mary Rose Brady, November 2, 1892 – October 28, 1939) was an American actress who began her career in the silent film era and survived the transition into talkies. Her films include My Man Godfrey (1936) and In Old Chicago (1937) for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.In 1960, Brady was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6201 Hollywood Blvd. for her contribution to motion pictures, making her one of fewer than a hundred...
