Harry Battock, 1912-1955

Abstract

Harry Battock and his family came to Denver from Poland around 1908, and upon arrival Battock worked as a fruit peddler in Denver. The Battock family became an important part of the West Colfax Jewish community of Denver. His son Benjamin Battock graduated high school in 1923, and went on to become a doctor, specializing in anesthesiology. Benjamin Battock died of a heart attack in 1955. A Photocopy of a photograph of Benjamin Battock and Ladeen Fogel is also in the file.
