Abstract Formal portrait of Max Ginsberg in a hat and suit. He was born in Russia as Israel Mordecai Bialagorski but changed his name when he came to the United States circa 1896. He had a leather belt factory in New York City but sold it when he moved to Denver, Colorado circa 1910. In Denver he worked for his son-in-law's business, the Auto Wrecking Co. The family lived in Denver at 2911 W. Colfax Avenue in a combined home and shop for his wife Dora Ginsberg to make Sheitels (wigs). Max Ginsberg...
