Abstract Collection contains newsletters and administrative files from the Computing Services department at the University of Denver.

Computing Services was renamed several times. Prior to 2016, department was named University Technology Services (UTS) Central Computing. 2016, department was named UTS Service Operations. 2017, department was renamed IT Infrastructure, which is the current name today. This is a sub-department of the current Information Technology Services for the University.

In 1970, a Mathematics major with a concentration in Computer Science was first offered, which started a change in the Mathematics Department to also begin to focus heavily on Computer Sciences.
