The document is titled "Geburtsurfunde", meaning birth certificate, although it was issued 15 years after he was born. Abstract This letter is addressed to Franz (Frank) Loeb, from Amsterdam on November 14th, 1938 from Walter (Schuckman). This is four days after Kristallnacht occured. In the letter, Walter is relaying information about the Loeb family to Frank, who had immigrated to the United States months earlier. Abstract

This small scrapbook has a cover made out of multi-colored plaid fabric, and is bound with decorative cord. The pages are brown cardstock. The pictures in the scrapbook show Ernest and Frank Loeb as children. There are several family pictures, as well as a group photo of children in costumes. The pictures are from around 1921, when Frank was born, and 1932, when Ernest would have been eight years old.
