Abstract

This box contains (2) CCOHA flower girl dress that were not accompanied with any dates or donors. Dress one is an ivory dress with a floral overlay and a large bow on the back. Dress two is a white dress with cap sleeves, a blue flower overlay, and a blue sash. Dress three is stained and no longer white.

Abstract

A caramel brown felt sailor hat with a circular wire brim. On the outside of the brim, there is a brown velvet ribbon, and the front has a small brown velvet bow. The inside of the hat is stamped with a white crest with a lion; inside and around the crest reads: ''fur felt body by Mallory''. Inside the brim is brown grosgrain ribbon with a label affixed reading: ''Kate Ferretti Denver''.

A center-folding man's wallet with internal coin compartment and a silver frame and clasp. There is a narrow compartment for cards. Additionally, there is a pocket with a gusset (opening fold) and a flap to close this compartment. Originally belonged to Robert Lazar Miller.

Abstract

A woman's rust colored velvet pillbox style hat. The outside of the hat is gathered velvet in long strips which are woven around the first layer of velvet. The top is a separate piece of gathered velvet. Originally belonged to Sara Isaacson Ettenson.

Buttercream Colored Taffeta Bodice, circa 1885

Abstract A two-piece taffeta skirt and bodice. The bodice is made from buttercream colored taffeta matching the skirt. However, the sleeves are made from a like colored fabric, but not of the same jacquard (woven print). The bodice is slightly V-necked and closes front-center. Two layers of lace (matches the lace used in the skirt) trim the neck, the cuffs, the bottom of the bodice and the gussets on the sleeves. The center back bodice has four metal hoops for attaching the skirt and four finished...

Abstract A two-piece taffeta skirt and bodice. Skirt consisting of a buttercream colored taffeta overskirt with underskirt. The jacquard print has vertical stripes of left and right facing flowers with stems that run the length of the fabric. The lower edge of the overskirt has tabs that come to points. The tabs are trimmed with buttercream colored piping and lined with taffeta that matches the skirt. The purpose of the tabs is to add weight to the points and made them less likely to flip or flutter....
