Abstract
A front view of the house, fence and gate, at 2024 Champa Street in Denver, Colorado. The brick house has a door and two windows in the front of the house. Milton Anfenger, the eldest son of Louis and Louise Anfenger, was born in this house in 1874. The original address may have been 536 Champa Street. The photograph is on page 155 of Milton Anfenger's scrapbook. It is said that Congregation Emanuel in Denver, Colorado was founded at the bris or circumcision ceremony of Milton Anfenger....

Abstract
William Goldblatt and his family stand on the porch of their home at 1473 Newton Street in Denver, Colorado. Goldblatt followed an unusual profession for a Denver Jewish citizen when he became a local fireman. Later, he became a Denver police officer and wore badge number one. He is pictured here in police uniform with his wife, Helen, and children Ruth and Marvin.
