Abstract

The Jewish Education Task Force was created in the Spring of 1988 to explore the problems and challenges faced by the community in the area of Jewish education, as a result of the 1987 seminar "Major Issues in Jewish Education" presented by the Jewish Education Service of North America (JESNA). Collection contains administrative paperwork from the Jewish Education Task Force and questionnaires from 14 Denver area Jewish educational schools and camps.

Collection contains materials from the Spivak Institute including, a spiral bound notebook in Yiddish of notes from Yiddish Reading Circle for Women- 1958-60, a copy of ''More Yiddish in Denver, '' a leather bound bank book from 1927, five bound record books 1939-1962, two file folders include: pamphlets in Hebrew, Hebrew newsclippings, documents regarding Workman's Circle all in Hebrew.

Yeshiva Toras Chaim Records

Abstract

Originally located 1400 Quitman Denver, Colorado, Yeshiva Toras Chaim is a Talmudical Seminary that opened in 1967. In 1997, they acquired the former sire of the Hebrew Educational Alliance and renovated the Stuart Street campus in 2016. Collection contains Yeshiva Toras Chaim publications and Intermountain Jewish News clippings related to the Yeshiva Toras Chaim from 1967 through 1980 and a DVD presentation from 2012.
