Contains black and white undated images of Vance Kirkland who was the founding Director of the School of Art at the University of Denver. Two newspaper articles about Maria Lowenstein's one woman show in 1971 at the Gallery of the United Bank of Denver Lobby. The Rocky Mountain News article features a picture of Maria standing with one of her paintings and another image of a painting below. To escape Nazi brutality, he was sent on the Kindertransport to England in 1939.
