Abstract
The Buchtel Family Scrapbook contains photographs of scenery as well as family pictures. The Scrapbook features the family of Frost Craft Buchtel (1876-1932), son of Henry Agustus Buchtel (1847-1924) who was Governor of Colorado and Chancellor of the University of Denver. Frost Buchtel was married to Margaret Waugh (1881-1976) whose photo appears in the scrapbook together with her mother and several of her children, including Barbara, Johnnie and Henry Augustus Buchtel III.

Abstract
Professor Howe's diary for 1907 recounts his brief weather and astronomical observations, administrative and teaching activities at the University of Denver, entertainment of visitors to the Chamberlin Observatory, participation in events in University Park and elsewhere in Denver, as well as his family and religious life. Special mention includes: Chancellor Buchtel's inauguration as Governor of Colorado on January 8; an outbreak of smallpox; Howe's work as acting Chancellor and book reviewer...
