Abstract
Photographic image of Lowell Thomas, University of Denver alumnus (B.A., M.A. 1912), famed world traveler, journalist, author, and broadcaster. He is perhaps most famous for introducing T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) to the world. He is wearing an Arab headdress and army-style shirt. Location unknown, date is presumed to be circa 1918.

The photo is matted and this inscription is on the mat, in what is likely Thomas' own hand: "To the Jack Chapmans-Greetings from Lhasa. 1949. Lowell Thomas".
