Includes a draft proposal for what would become the Universal Round Dance Council, discussions of organizational agenda, operational policies, and a letter discussing the organization's relationship to Callerlab and Legacy.

Significant focus on deciding the purpose of the organization and on announcing its existence. Includes draft organizational structure chart, as well as early financial and membership information, and the first mention of drafting articles of incorporation.

The International Choreographed Ballroom Dance Association was started as the National Round Dance Board of Review in 1976-1977, became the Universal Round Dance Council in 1977, and changed to its current name in late 2007. The collection primarily consists of official newsletters and convention syllabi from 1979-2012, plus organizing correspondence from 1976-1979, official convention recordings from 2004-2005, and some ephemera.
