One edition from October 23, 1998 of the Intermountain Jewish News with a piece on the Rose Hospitals 50th Anniversary. A large stack of photocopied articles and photographs pertaining to the accomplishments of Rose Hospital from its inception to the late 1980s. Abstract General Rose Memorial Hospital was founded in 1945. The hospital was named for General Maurice Rose, a Denver native, who had been killed in action the same year. General Rose was the highest ranking American officer killed in action in Europe and also the highest ranking Jewish officer in the Army.
