Box contains three large scrapbooks, one unbound (mostly press clippings from the early 1940s), one bound scrapbook by members Claudia Cooper and Betty Fabian for the years 1953-1956 and one bound scrapbook introducing the 1956 pledge class. In this series, scrapbooks contain photos and memorabilia items including event invitations, thank you cards and more.

Abstract

Mildred Elizabeth Anderson Diehl (1908-1996) was an alumna of the University of Denver (BA, 1930). Mrs. Diehl grew up in Denver, Colorado in the early 1900's. She attended South High School - graduatiing in June 1926 - and then matriculated at DU. While attending DU, she was very active in women's athletics and in sorority life. The collection consists of a scrapbook kept by Mildred and donated by her son, Rodney W. Diehl.
