Scope Note: Temple Aaron was built in 1889 for Congregation Aaron that was made up of Jews from Colorado and New Mexico. The Victorian-Moorish synagogue was designed by architect Isaac Hamilton Rapp, who went on to help develop the "Santa Fe Style" of architecture. Source: Hornbein, M.
