The Scrapbook entitled Sample Book No. 3 Nos 800 to 1232, inclusive, contains photographs of the Piedra Parada Dig near Pagosa Springs, Colorado from 1921-1922.

Reflects on childhood memories such as going to see movies at the theater. Essig spent much of her childhood raising her younger siblings.
