The Beth Jacob Synagogue stands on the JCRS?AMC campus and is the oldest religious building still standing in its original locations in Lakewood. Abstract
The Fair Cookbook was published by the Ladies of Congregation Emanuel in Denver, Colorado in 1888. It is the earliest known Jewish fundraising cookbook in America. The cookbook was sold at the fair that the Ladies of Temple Emanuel organized in 1888 to pay off the mortgage on the Temple.
